The FiberCELL is a compact sheet metal fabricating fiber laser system, capable of cutting a variety of metals such as stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium, brass and copper. A Class 1 safety enclosure allows the system to be placed in high traffic areas such as busy factory floors and university classrooms. Special polycarbonate windows are installed to ensure harmful laser wavelengths are filtered and cannot leave the enclosure.
SigmaNest® Techno™ software is included as a standard software package on each FiberCELL system. This advanced CNC laser software will maximize efficiency and machine throughput using nesting and NC functions, including common-line cutting, bridge cutting and lead–in/tab generation.
Available in 0.5kW, 1kW and 1.5kW configurations. Bed Size 50”x 52” (1270x1320mm).
Laser Source: Quality fiber lasers with a robust design that have been setup for optimum efficiency, flexibility and reliability in industrial metal cutting applications.
HyperDual Motion: The HyperDual motion package features a rack and pinion design driven by powerful servo motors at each side of the table. The results are smooth cut radiuses, quick acceleration rates and the fastest cutting speeds to date.
Computer and Laser Software: A high-performance computer and monitor are provided with each laser system. Kern’s state-of-the-art KCAM laser cutting and engraving software is included on every laser system. An easy to use printer driver will send your vector and raster files to the laser. Upgrades to the KCAM software are always free of charge and readily available on our website. Your choice of design software such as CorelDRAW®, AutoCAD LT® or Adobe lllustrator® is also included.
UL / CE / CDRH: A UL certified electrical panel is placed on each laser system which turns on and shuts down components of the laser system. CDRH compliance requirements are upheld on the FiberCELL laser system to meet specifications in 21 CFR, Subchapter J, parts 1040.10 & 1040.11.
Chilling Unit: A closed loop chilling unit is included on all laser systems of 100 watts or greater. This chilling unit will keep your laser head cooled and running smoothly.
Air Assist: A programmable air assist allows selection of the gas type and pressure setting used during the pierce, cut and jog between parts. Three quick-disconnect couplings at the rear of the machine allow for easy hook up of oxygen, nitrogen and shop air.
Beam Delivery: The FiberCELL is equipped with a LaserMech FiberMini processing head resulting in a compact, lightweight and user-friendly beam delivery system. An optic drawer mechanism allows for easy replacement of a protective cover lens. A capacitance sensing height follower results in a non-contact cutting process.
Blower Package: A 2HP vacuum blower is connected to the machine to remove fumes and particles created during laser processing. A hose kit and all fitting between the vacuum blower and FiberCELL machine are included.
